How we pick stories

We look for public posts on X that pass at least one of four tests:

• Early: we spotted it before mainstream news did.
• Credible: it comes from a voice with a record of accuracy.
• Surging: people are engaging with it unusually fast.
• Surprising: it's unexpected, useful or fun.

An editor decides what goes in. We write every headline and summary in our own words, and every story links to the post it came from so you can check it yourself.

Your account

• Delete your account: on the Account page (or in the app under Account), choose Delete my account. It's immediate and permanent. If you can't sign in, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it within 7 days.
• Download your data: choose Download my data on the Account page.
• Stop the email brief: use the unsubscribe link in any brief, or untick it on the Account page.
• Change your email address: email us from your current address.
• Lost access to your email: email us from another address with as much detail as you can; we may ask questions to confirm the account is yours.

Privacy requests and complaints

To access, correct or delete your information, or to complain about how we handle it, email us. We acknowledge requests within 2 working days and respond in full within 30 days. People in India can treat this address as our grievance contact. If you're not happy with our answer, the Privacy Policy explains who else you can contact.

Something wrong in a story?

Email us the story link and what's wrong. We correct mistakes, and we take a story down within 24 hours of learning that the post it's based on was deleted.

If you think you've found a security weakness in SelectPulse, email us with the details. Please don't access other people's data or disrupt the service while testing. We'll respond within 2 working days.
